How to wash & Maintain the Topper, Extensions & Wigs

How to Wash Your Product Straight Hair

1.Fill a clean sink or small tub with room-temperature water.

2. Add a small quantity of sulphate-free shampoo and gently lather the water (never apply shampoo directly on the product).

3. Immerse the product (topper, extension, or wig) fully into the shampoo water.

4. Gently cleanse the product using your hands, exactly as demonstrated in our video. Then wash it in clean water again to remove remaining shampoo. *Do not rub the hair.

6. Rinse by immersing the product in clean water. Do not rinse under direct running water.

7. Towel-dry gently to remove excess moisture - do not rub.

8. Spray a few pumps of Schwarzkopf Professional Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray (with Glycerol) as needed. Gently comb through.

9. Blow-dry the hair to set the parting and shape.

10. Apply Serum for a Final Touch

11. Use one drop of serum (such as *L'Oréal Paris Extraordinary Oil Hair Serum), based on product size, after blow-drying for added shine and smoothness.

4. Let dry naturally to maintain wave pattern.

What Not to Do

Avoid Box Dyes at Home

Never colour your product using store-bought box dyes. This may damage the hair permanently. We offer professional colouring services* at a nominal cost—please allow our team to assist you.

Never Use Heat Without Protection

Always apply a heat protectant spray before using any heat styling tools.

Do Not Machine Wash

These products should never be washed in a washing machine.

Never Apply Shampoo Directly

Always mix shampoo in water first to avoid roughness and tangling.

Don’t Leave Shampoo On for Long

Prolonged exposure can cause knots, leading to unavoidable breakage during detangling.

Avoid High-Pressure Water

Never rinse the hair under strong water flow; it can damage strands and cause matting.

Do Not Rub the Hair

Rubbing creates friction and leads to severe tangling.

Never Brush Wet Hair Aggressively: Use a wide-tooth comb while supporting the bonds.

Recommended Practices

Follow the Video Demonstration Closely

Watch and replicate the method shown in our instructional video for best results.

Use Only Sulphate-Free Products

Always choose a mild, sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner.

Store Properly

When not in use, keep your product in a zip-lock plastic pouch to maintain hygiene and increase longevity.

Protect Overnight: Tie your hair in a loose braid or use a silk/satin pillowcase to reduce friction.

Shield from Chlorine/Saltwater: Use a swim cap or rinse with fresh water before and after swimming.

Moisturize Regularly: Use a lightweight serum on mid-lengths and ends to prevent dryness.

Blow-Dry to Set the Hair

After applying Moisture Kick Spray, blow-dry to set the parting.

Note: Air-drying may cause natural waves or slight frizz.

Schedule Regular Maintenance: Visit your stylist every 6–8 weeks for tightening, repositioning, or trimming.
